The Life of a Daisy House Girl

Right... so like a week ago I wrote some blather about how each of us daisies should post what it's like to be us--you know, "a day in the life of" sort of thing.

Well I never did that. Only Kimmy did. Props to Kimmy, by the way. But I'd just like to let y'all in on just how crazy the daisy house is over the next few weeks. It's not so much MY life... as much as the life that the three of us tend to lead, because this is what happens when you DIVE in head first into LIFE.

So we just got back from a week long trip to D.C. It was way awesome and fun but 27 hours on a bus trip twice in 5 days is, well, a bit tiring to say the least. Hopefully one of the three of us will expound on the awesomeness of the trip in future posts.

So we had about 5 hours back from the trip, and then we had to go to our bible study. This "bible study" has recently been named "Church Chat" and the ladies of the Daisy House have sorta become the people in charge of it. So we had our first Church Chat and discussed the book that we'll be studying. HOORAH.

(that was last night). Tonight, Kim and I had a meeting for a retreat that we're helping to lead this weekend. **YEAY FOR SOJOURN!!!** And Lisa will be on the retreat. So that puts the three of us out of the house for another 2 and a half days.

Then we go back to work for 5 days, and the next weekend brings the Youth 2000 retreat which we're all scheduled to work at and KCCSC (the Kansas Catholic College Student Convention) which Lisa and I are supposed to be designing a table presentation for. Also, that is the same weekend as the Super Bowl, and the Daisy House has volunteered to host a party (which, by the way, you're all invited to) so we top that weekend off with a Daisy House Celebration!

Then we have another week of work followed by a weekend in which Lisa and I will be attending the Young Adult Ministry Board retreat. WOOP WOOP! We're uberly excited to be on this board and to go on the retreat but that's yet another weekend consumed by stuff. I think Kimmy gets this weekend pseudo-off and so happy for her we are!

And last, but not least, we've got one more week followed by the three of us heading to Colorado. Kim will be on a ski-trip with the church Youth Group and Lisa and I will be in Denver at the National Catholic Singles Conference. (I'm also way WAY excited about this, but I've heard a rumor that the ratio is going to be 2 to 1 girls over guys so that's a bit discouraging.) If you're a guy who is Catholic and Single you should consider coming to this conference with us on February 18-19th. We've already got 4 in the car, but we could rent a van if we found more!!! You should come!! It will be great!!

And guess what?? The following weekend is FINALLY a weekend where we (thus far) have nothing scheduled. I'm sooo looking forward to sleeping in that weekend. It's bizarre to say that about a day that is over 30 days away from now, but hey... we all gotta have something to look forward to even if it is rest.

Welp... I've let you in on our crazy busy lives. I hope you've enjoyed.

**Please note that the preceding post may mean that there will be not many posts over the next month as time will be short.**

Love you all!
