LHOP!!!

So some of you already know that I have a little tiny thing for Little House on the Prairie! OK maybe it is more like an obsession but here is why I really like the show. Life back in the day was simple...You worked, you played, you prayed! Think about it. When the sun went down it was DARK outside. What else was there to do than sit in the Kitchen around the fire and read the Bible, listen to Pa play the fiddle, or just sit and chat with friends! I love that life and on Sunday I found it here in the city!

The afternoon was spent in the park playing lots of crazy fun games and riding a new kind of bike. Then the festivities moved back to the Daisy House for a fabulous game about the Catechism. When we made dinner everyone was helping out and it was just like one big happy family. And the tostadas were delicious!!! The rest of the evening was spent chilling out in the living room...just talking and having a great time!

Ask me how many times the TV was turned on and I will tell you...ZERO! It was mentioned but everyone just wanted to enjoy each other's company. Oh and I almost forgot the fiddle part (well it was a guitar). Andrew played for us and we sang praises to God!

Thanks to all of my little flowers that brought the Prairie to the City! I love each and every one of you so much!
